The Two Parts of Methodology

This section takes a high-end educational philosophy, represented by the acronym STEAM, and gives practical suggestions for implementing the ideas using methods called Cards-on-the-Table and Presentation Options. It puts students in a quality learning environment, giving them maximum opportunity to absorb current, valuable bridge information. At the same time, it’s a good mental workout, and an enjoyable way to spend time with like-minded players.

The Philosophy that Grounds

S.T.E.A.M. is a helpful acronym that represents a number of areas to be considered when conducting a class. They are Safety, Timing, Energy, Attitude, Methods, and Material.

The Methods that Implement

The Cards-on-the-Table Method uses the cards themselves and supporting accessories to illustrate concepts in bidding, play, and defense.
